Join us for a night of fun. The best part is all the funds will go toward expanding our programs and offerings in the school community.

We hope that you will be able to participate in one of our most exciting events, our 5th annual Gala, which will be celebrated as a Run for the Roses on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

As we enter our seventh year we have even bigger dreams for our students and community. It is our mission to serve all children looking to be their “unique” best self in a supportive, caring environment. We hope that you will to contribute to one of our most exciting events, our 5th annual Gala on May 2nd, 2026. The night entails a silent auction and dinner. This year’s theme is Kentucky Derby – titled Run for the Roses. The best part is all the funds will go towards expanding programs and services in our school community.

Your donation to The Journey School directly supports the following programs: STEM this includes hands-on experiments in our lab with Science from Scientists classes, Multimedia, Art classes and our Lego Robotics team. Foreign Languages such as Spanish and American Sign Language club. Athletics for students K-8. Travel through Field Trips out of state to places like the Badlands National Park in South Dakota and the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri. Students also attend outdoor learning centers, Eagle Bluff and Wolf Ridge. Every year we visit the Children’s Museum, the Science Museum, Orchestra Hall, Como Zoo, Apple Orchard, and the Children’s Theatre.

Will you partner with us? We are looking for donations such as silent auction items, sponsorships and monetary support. You can make a difference in the success of the Gala but most importantly, in the lives of the students at The Journey School. Thank you for taking the time to consider our cause.
