Hi I am Ms. Daria Cathey, and I’ll be transitioning into being your child’s teacher in the 3rd- 4th grade classroom. I am so excited to continue the school year with your child, as I’ve been here at TJS since the beginning of the school year as a student-teacher working with them.
I want to start by allowing you to learn a little more about me. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Youth Studies in 2019, and I’m in the process of earning my Masters of Art in Teaching at Concordia College. As a student-teacher, I’ve spent time observing the structure, routine, and lessons in the classroom. I’ve worked closely in collaboration with Ms. Olson with implementing a learning environment that supports students in their academic journey.
